Psychoneuroimmunology
A broad look at your immune defences, metabolism, hormones and emotions to understand why a problem appears and how to get your health back.
What we can help with
We look for the mechanism behind each symptom.
Immunity and allergies
Regulating the immune system helps with allergies, autoimmune diseases and recurrent colds or pneumonia.
Migraines and headaches
Adjusting lifestyle and supplements can noticeably reduce how often they happen and how severe they are.
Skin
Redness, acne, dry or oily skin, itching: we look for the cause so we can suggest the right treatment.
Excess weight
We identify what is stopping the body from using fat as a source of energy, with supplements if needed.
Thyroid and hormones
How they are regulated depends heavily on the liver and on getting enough key micronutrients.
Chronic pain and fibromyalgia
We look for the mechanism keeping the pain going so we know which habit needs to change.
Digestive system
We pinpoint which organ is causing the discomfort; if the gut flora is out of balance, we work with probiotics and prebiotics.
How we work
PNI gives us a broader view of the patient and allows a more in-depth diagnosis. Treatment aims to set you on the path to long-term health through lifestyle habits, diet and, when needed, specific supplements.
It's a complementary approach: it doesn't replace the care of your doctor.

What is psychoneuroimmunology (PNI)?
It's the discipline that studies how mental processes, the nervous system, the immune system and the endocrine system interact. In clinic, it looks at immune defences, metabolism, hormones, emotions and habits to understand why a health problem appears.
What does Evolutive Clinic treat with PNI?
Immune problems and allergies, migraines and headaches, skin problems, excess weight, thyroid and sex hormone imbalances, chronic pain and fibromyalgia, and digestive complaints.
What does the treatment involve?
Adjusting lifestyle habits, diet and, when needed, specific supplements, depending on the mechanism identified in each case.
Who runs the PNI consultation?
Marc Castor Quetglas, a physiotherapist with postgraduate training in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology and a master's in Human Nutrition from the UIB.
How much does a PNI consultation cost?
The first consultation costs €70 and follow-ups €50.
Does PNI replace seeing a doctor?
No. It's a complementary approach focused on habits, diet and supplements. If you have a medical diagnosis or treatment, follow your doctor's advice.
